Data for the MOD12 products are available free of charge to the public. They are archived at the Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center at EROS Data Center. For more information, please click on the links to the MOD12Q1 and MOD12Q2 product pages at the DAAC. In addition, as a service to the community, we also provide global mosaics for each of our products, in flat binary format. Before using MOD12 data from either source please refer to documentation, including the user manual and "known issues" document.
