Below are a few remote sensing examples of the application of
BRDF model inversions to correct reflectances and derive albedo.
- Combined Aqua and Terra
Processing.
- Global MODIS White-Sky (bihemispherical) Albedo
and Nadir BRDF-Adjusted Reflectance (NBAR).
- Global albedos based on magnitude inversions of monthly
composited 1995 AVHRR data and archetypal BRDF parameters
assigned according to land cover.
- Albedo and BRDF information based on daily AVHRR and GOES data of
New England from the late
summer of 1995.
- Albedos and BRDF-Adjusted NDVIs of the Large-Scale Biosphere-Atmosphere Experiment (LBA)
in the Amazonia of Brazil.
