Radiation Budget Variables and Snow and Ice Products 21 - 22 October, 2002 Boston University - George Sherman Union Student Center Lounge - Lower Level 775 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, Massachusetts Workshop ObjectivesThis workshop gave the user community a comprehensive overview of the status of the MODIS Land Surface Temperature Products, the MODIS Surface Reflectance Products, the MODIS BRDF/Albedo Products and the MODIS Snow and Ice Products. The MODIS Land Science team and relevant EOS DAACs covered the step-by-step details of the processing, distribution, analysis and interpretation of these standard MODIS data products. Coarser resolution versions of these products for global modeling are now available and were described and discussed. In addition, the workshop featured a session of tutorials on data ordering, reprojection, reformatting and other technical tools. The meeting ended with a Poster Session on Land Product Validation and Utilization held jointly with the CEOS/WGCV Land Product Validation (LPV) Workshop on Albedo which took place immediately following this workshop at Boston University on October 22-24, 2002.
